This barograph was commissioned by me in 1993, but was not delivered until 1995. Built by Ron Lucking the barograph is inscribed R. Lucking Hampton Court although he was actually East Molesey. This barograph is all working OK, but after transport will probably need re-calibrating, but that is an easy task. All brass work is lacquered.

In Brazilian Mahogany case with drawer. Pivots are hardened and polished.

The pen is an adjustable gimble gravity pressure affair, with the chart drum suspended on a bearing for near zero torque conditions. Base is 220mm x 350mm. It is driven by a quartz 7 day clock movement powered by a single AA battery.

Pen Axis 40mm above flange. 10 hectopascal = 7.5mm. It comes with a bottle of ink (blue/black). 69 sheets of Metform 4237. (in green) These are double sided, so that is over 2.5 years worth of stock. Approx 100 (in red) single sided sheets, so again about another 2 years worth of stock. I also include a history of charts. 6th March 1995 to 17 Dec 2007 location Madley in Herefordshire. 1st Oct 2012 to 15 Aug 2016 location Bath, Avon & Somerset. Any specific questions then please ask.
