You will be able to see the import charges at checkout. This is an antique miniature FINE MADE folding ruler that folds 4 times. It has a SLIDE out top curved part as well.

It is made from a light coloured wood mounted in a nickel like metal. One metal end does pull out but I'm not sure for what purpose. No maker's marks etc. What a really fabulous miniature folding rule this is, It may have been 1 of a number of items in a set but then again it may just have been on its own. It is really nice to hold and very well made. One of the outer boxwood sections has No. 40 on it and has the measurement lines and numbers too on all the boxwood parts.

The hinged side which has the curved top end which slides out is slightly weaker on the hinge probably due to the slightly extra weight of the sliding nickel metal part. The slide out nickel rule has measurements on BOTH sides of it. The boxwood inset below the slider is NOT marked at all. Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.

Condition report: Normal signs of age and use wear, including some surface scuffs and minor impact marks. It measures from 3 inches long when closed and 12 inches long when opened out fully. My stock ref : #LVT/MnC10424 in that box date. GSP sorts any paperwork etc. I have no control over the prices that GSP set.

Unfortunately GSP do open the packages they receive to check the contents and then re-wrap them for the forward journey to you. This has caused some issues in the past so please take my word that I personally wrap all items as best I can to survive the trip, but GSP sometimes do not take as much care as I do when re-wrapping. You can also arrange to COLLECT your item from my actual antique shop if that is easier for you. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal sized Coke can (330ml). In the title or description it means.

Condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ".

I have used A/F for " as found " for 45 years.
