19th Century pocket barometer, compensated for temperature with compass and thermometer, made by E. The instruments are held in a guilded brass case with the barometer on one side and the compass on the other with a mercurial thermometer in a circular tube surrounding it. The barometer dial has an aged patina with a silvery tone and is signed by E. Meyrowitz as well as'Fabriqué en Angleterre par' translating to'made in England for'. All components appear to be working well and included is the original leather covered travel case, which opens up both sides so the instruments can be read without taking it out of the case.
Please note the press to open outer button is missing from the outer case, to open it, you just press the uncovered leather wood section and either side can then open. This could be fixed or repaired. Inside the storage case is green felt and the inner section is lined in silk.
