Belt driven OHC single cylinder 4 stroke sectioned engine. Its an interesting and intriguing sectioned engine that will attract and intrigue both the engine enthusiast and Educational fraternity.

Being belt a driven OHC its ideal for teaching about modern automotive engines. I completely stripped the engine sectioned it, acid cleaned all the parts. Painted the internals and casings. I then reassembled it in such a way that it can be revolved by the handle all the internals can then be seen working , This one is a little more complicated than the side valve types I usually section, being OHC it has a toothed cam belt driving the cam shaft in the cylinder head which then operates the fully exposed valve gear via rocker arms which have the car type adjusters this makes it especially suitable for education / training purposes as well as the engine enthusiast The crankshaft is driven by the cranking handle which when revolved drives the con rod and piston up and down the cylinder while also rotating the cam shaft via the now fully exposed toothed cam belt which then operates the valve train that is fully operational and operates as it would in a fully functional engine (its even timed correctly) one very unusual feature of these engines is that with careful placement of the rocker arms they have managed to work both the inlet and exhaust valves with only one cam lobe. I have cleaned and polished the piston to almost as new condition.

It makes a fascinating and very different instructional / educational / unusual desk toy / teaching aid or counter display for related trades that catches peoples eye. Approximate dimensions are as follow Width, , , 21.5 cm Depth , , , 34 cm (Including handle) 23 cm handle removed Height , , 30.5 cm.
