The microscope is formed from solid lacquered brass with machine feathering to the ornate "Y" foot base and stage. The articulating foot has ornate Buttress supports to either side of the limb.There is a single sided sliding focus mirror and the stage has its 2 original screw fitted lacquered brass stage clips. The substage accepts the push fit polariser. The main body tube has rack and pinion focusing in perfect working order and the body tube is signed vertically " WATSON & Son, 313 High Holborn, London ". The Instrument is in its original fitted polished Mahogany case with working lock & key and Original Watson style brass carry handle.
The Microscope case is complete with. C 1/4 Inch Objective in Brass Canister d Compound Objective in Brass Canister. E 33 mm fitting Eyepiece. F Stage Forceps with cork pin holder. G Live Cell h Brass Feathered Forceps.
