VINTAGE MEDICAL MICROSCOPE, "ORTHOPLAN" with MECHANICAL STAGE and 5 OBJECTIVES by LEITZ WETLER, GERMANY with PROJECTION TUBE. This high end microscope has fine and coarse height adjustment, 5 way nose piece, 5 objectives, a pair of eye pieces, sub-stage condenser with iris diaphragm with flip-over lens and filter holder with dimmable low voltage power pack and lamp assembly, (also by Zeiss). The eye-pieces may be altered to suit different eye centres.

The mechanical stage operates smoothly in both x and y directions and the stage itself can be adjusted, (fore & aft). Although the sub-stage illuminator has an iris diaphragm and the illuminator is electrically dimmable and the power supply is also made by Leitz. Pl 25 / 0.5 oil immersion, LEITZ. Pl 40 / 0.65 oil immersion, LEITZ.
