Antique Wimshurst machine. Working

Here we have an 8 plate Wimsurst machine by Voltana in full working order. I have been restoring and dealing with Wimshurst's for over 40 years and this is one of the most original machines of this type I have owned. Other than the new leather belts I dont think there is a single replaced part. Original vulcanite plates even with the original foil sectors attached! The recommissioning of this machine was very straight forward.

Dismantled, cleaned, reassembled with new belts and she was sparking away happily. 11" tall, base is 9.5" wide, 5.25" deep and the plates are 8" diameter. Altogether a delightful little machine that will only rise in value and unlike others offered this one actually works!
